One of Ethan’s strong desires is to help people with his music, especially Children! The reaction he gets and the money he raises at charities is significant and in some cases record breaking. Below are some examples of who he has helped recently:

Miami Children’s Hospital

Ethan’s involvement with MCH started because they saved his Little Brother with 2 heart surgeries. Miami Children’s Hospital was able to hold an event at the American Airlines Arena, with Guests and Performers such as Beyonce, Smokey Robinson, Gloria Estefan and Gloria Gaynor. They raised a record breaking $12,000,000 that night. Ethan co-hosted, performed and helped generate PR for the event. 

OneXone

Last Year Ethan performed at this event and was extremely well received. Matt Damon, Santana, Josh Groban, Wyclef Jean, and many more performed.
Ethan took the initiative and ran up on stage (Unplanned) for the auction that Matt Damon was doing (with permission, of course)and said he will auction off his own performance if someone “gives more money for the kids”.. Donors in the audience went up as high as $110,000 and then Josh Groban, inspired by Ethan, ran up on stage and said he will OPEN for Ethan at this concert if a Donor gives more money for the kids. They raised $630,000, within minutes, for 3 performances with Josh and Ethan (to be scheduled), all unplanned!

Celebrity Fight Night (Muhammad Ali event)

This event was held over 2 nights. Ethan performed both nights and wrote a song for Muhammad Ali – “The Champ”. After performing the first night, Ali embraced Ethan and everyone began singing “The Champ” with Ethan on stage (unplanned). Forrest Whitaker, Josh Groban, Reba McEntire, David Foster, Jordin Sparks and many others went on stage and sang this to Ali. There are plans to record this song with all past celebrities that attended this event and give the proceeds to the foundation.

After performing the 2nd night, Ethan and Josh Groban auctioned off a dinner and raised over $300,000, in minutes, for 3 dinners that they will attend.

The Starkey Hearing Foundation

Ethan has been asked to help a very important foundation. A foundation that restores hering to people that can not hear. This July, Ethan, Elton John, Billy Crystal, Gladys Knight and Tony Bennett will deliver dazzling performances at the Starkey Hearing Foundation’s Ninth Annual So The World May Hear Awards. Ethan has a surprise that will hopefully help many more people to hear!
